FAQ

We have summarized basic questions about RideRIX's functions, price plans, data linkage, AI consultation, and accounts.

What can I do with RideRIX?

RideRIX is a training management app for road bikes. You can check your ride records and upcoming schedules on the calendar, and collect data by linking with Intervals.icu or importing FIT.

When connected to compatible AI such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, you can consult based on your records, schedule, physical condition, etc., and also write schedules, workouts, etc. according to the plan. Structured workouts can be sent to Zwift or Garmin via Intervals.icu.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can start with the Free plan. The features within the site are also available on Free.

AI can only refer to the last two days, up to 50 times a day, and cannot write to it. If you want to use AI more widely, please use Standard.

What is the difference between Free and Standard?

In-site functions, Intervals.icu cooperation, and FIT import can be used for both. The difference is the scope of the AI.

Free can access the latest two days of data up to 50 times per day and cannot write data. Standard has no limit on how far back AI can access your data, and supported AIs can write plans and workouts, activity assessments, goals, wellness, and weight/FTP data. ChatGPT supports these core writes as well. MCP-compatible AIs also offer supporting tools such as weekly reviews and the workout library.

Where can I import ride data from?

It can be imported by uploading FIT files and linking Intervals.icu.

Intervals.icu cooperation is optional. You can manage records by importing FIT without linking. Working together will make it easier to incorporate activities, schedules, and wellness.

Do I need an Intervals.icu account?

Not required. You can manage records with FIT files even without Intervals.icu.

By linking with Intervals.icu, it becomes easier to obtain activities and wellness information, reflect schedules made with RideRIX, and link execution with Zwift and Garmin.

What is the AI integration (RideRIX AI)?

This is a function that allows you to consult compatible AIs such as ChatGPT (RideRIX GPT), Claude, and Grok using data such as RideRIX's records, schedule, and physical condition.

To use it, you need to log in to RideRIX and allow connection on each AI side. An account on the AI side is also required.

Do I need a subscription with ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok?

Yes. You will need an account on the AI service side to use. You can connect to RideRIX from a compatible AI and view training data and schedules.

A paid plan for the AI service is not required. However, if you use a paid plan, you will be less likely to run into usage restrictions, and you will be more likely to be able to use a higher-performance model.

Standard includes write access to RideRIX. Supported AIs, including ChatGPT, can write plans and workouts, activity assessments, goals, wellness, and weight/FTP data. MCP-compatible AIs also offer supporting tools such as weekly reviews and the workout library.

Can I create workouts?

Yes. In the Workout Library, you can create, save, and edit workouts and import .zwo files.

You can create structured workouts with AI and apply them to your schedule.

The structured workouts you create can be added to your schedule and can be executed on Zwift or Garmin via Intervals.icu integration.

How do I check plans against results?

Check the appointment calendar and recording calendar.

You can also review plans and results with AI.

You can organize workouts, races, rests, and more into your schedule by date, and you can also add saved workouts from your library. On the recording side, you can look back on your actual activities.

Can I log my condition (wellness) too?

yes. When linked with Intervals.icu, you can obtain wellness data such as weight, sleep, resting heart rate, and HRV.

On Standard, you can also record subjective condition data such as fatigue, stress, and mood through a supported AI. You can manage your weight from Settings as well.

Can it be done with Zwift or Garmin?

The process is to schedule a structured workout in RideRIX, synchronize it to Intervals.icu, and then use the Zwift / Garmin Connect link on the Intervals.icu side.

Even if text-only events and rests are synced as calendar events, they will not become active workouts.

Troubleshooting

What should I do when ChatGPT cannot connect to RideRIX?

Due to temporary malfunctions or usage restrictions on the ChatGPT side, RideRIX GPT may not be able to open, may not be requested to connect, or may not be able to receive data. Please try the following steps:

  1. Ask GPT in a chat to connect.
  2. Start with a new chat. If it doesn't work the first time, create a new chat and try several times.
  3. Delete the old RideRIX GPT chat history and then reconnect with a new chat.
  4. If it doesn't open on your smartphone app, try using ChatGPT on your PC or another browser.
  5. Wait a while and try again with a new chat.
  6. Check to see if there are any usage restrictions or suspensions on the ChatGPT side. During restrictions, you may not be able to connect to RideRIX.

Even if you're already connected but can't use it, it's definitely a good idea to try a new chat first.

What should I do if my workouts don't appear on Zwift or Garmin?

Only structured workouts with time and intensity structure can be sent to Zwift/Garmin. Even if text-only events and rests appear on the calendar, they do not become active workouts.

If it does not appear, please check in the following order.

  1. Check whether schedules are synchronized from RideRIX to Intervals.icu.
  2. Check to see if it's a structured workout on Intervals.icu with time and intensity graphs.
  3. Check if Zwift / Garmin Connect cooperation and "Upload planned workouts" on Intervals.icu side are valid.
  4. If it does not appear even if it has been linked, cancel the link on the Intervals.icu side and then link again.
  5. Garmin checks Garmin Connect's calendar and then synchronizes the device.

If the strengths are different, set FTP of Zwift and Intervals.icu to the same value.
